|
Willie Horton was born and
educated in Dublin, Ireland. |
|
|
The first twenty years of his
career were spent in the professional and financial services
sectors: |
|
- Working
for Irish Life Assurance's Financial Division
-
Practicing corporate, personal and US Federal tax with
KPMG and PWC in Dublin and London
- Holding
senior management positions with Insurance Corporation
Life, Prudential Life and Hibernian Life
- As
General Manager, ACCBank, where he transformed the
State-owned bank in preparation for privatization.

A qualified accountant and
tax consultant by profession, Willie also founded Fyntel, a software company based in Dublin’s International
Financial Services Centre, which was purchased by Dolmen
Securities. |
|
|
In 1993 he embarked on his
current journey, studying psychology with Dr. Gerald Kushel
PhD in the Swiss Alps and at the beginning of 1996 commenced practice as a
management consultant and personal advisor to senior
business figures. |
|
|
Since then, Willie has been
working at the cutting edge of the research and practical
application of the latest understanding of how the human
mind’s innate power can be used to achieve business and
personal goals far beyond what would be considered to be
normally achievable, enabling his clients to achieve
“unbelievable results”. |
|
|
In December, 2008, he
launched Gurdy.Net - making his highly acclaimed two-day
workshop available online. The venture, which took a
full year to develop, includes video, audio and interactive
workshops and seminars, together with the internet's first
dedicated personal development social network. |
|
|
Willie, who is 50 yrs., lives
in the small alpine village of Les Contamines-Montjoie, in
the French Alps with his wife, Lisa and three children:
David (18), Louise(17) and Sarah(14). His first book on the
subject, To Succeed… Just Let Go was published in London
by Janus in April, 2006. |
